Chaffey Bros Tripelpunkt Riesling 2025

Chaffey Bros Tripelpunkt Riesling is a taut, textural single-vineyard Riesling from three plantings on one site.

The name refers to three distinct plantings within the one vineyard, the oldest dating back to 1964. Combining fruit from different vine ages adds layers: the older vines give concentration and a mineral edge, while the younger blocks bring freshness and zesty citrus. The wine shows lime, grapefruit and green apple with orange blossom and a light pithy texture. Halliday's Dave Brookes called it special value, praising its tension and minerality.

Chill well and try with grilled prawns, snapper with lemon butter, or a Thai green papaya salad. It will reward cellaring for five to ten years as it builds toasty complexity.
