ChaLou Chardonnay Orange 2025

ChaLou Chardonnay Orange is a fine, citrus-led Chardonnay from a small family winery working in the Orange region.

High on the slopes of Mount Canobolas, it's altitude that brings the cool nights, late harvests and firm natural acidity, and Orange has become one of Australia's most talked-about places for this grape as a result. The family lets that fruit lead. French oak is used with a measured hand, while lees contact adds texture and depth without obvious toastiness.

Bright citrus and white peach, with a subtle touch of oak and a lovely textural feel. Serve at 10–12°C alongside roast chicken, grilled fish, creamy pasta or soft cheeses. It's at its freshest over the next few years.
