ChaLou Lou Skinny Rosé 2024

ChaLou Lou Skinny Rosé is a dry, pale rosé from a small family producer working around Orange and Canowindra.

Many of the Orange vineyards sit above 600 metres on the slopes of Mount Canobolas, an extinct volcano, which means cool nights, slow ripening and naturally bright acidity. This comes from the family's approachable everyday tier. Red grapes get only brief skin contact before pressing, and the pale juice is fermented cool in stainless steel to keep its fruit and crunch.

Pale, crisp and refreshing, and best in its youth. Chill it well (6–8°C) and pour it as an aperitif or with salads, prawns, soft cheeses and long lunches outdoors.
