Champagne Agrapart & Fils Grand Cru Terroirs Blanc de Blancs is drawn entirely from grand cru sites in four Côte des Blancs villages, bottled here in magnum.

The villages are Avize, Cramant, Oger and Oiry, the core of Chardonnay country in Champagne, and the plantings average more than 50 years of age, which counts for as much here as the classification. This release is based on two vintages, 2020 and 2019, with the earlier year supplying an unusually high 80 per cent of the blend as reserve wine. Fermentation is natural, half the volume raised in large-format neutral oak, and the wine spent more than 36 months on lees. Dosage is limited to 5 g/L and disgorgement was carried out by hand in March 2024. The extra weight of reserve material and old-vine fruit is what separates this cuvée from the house's 7 Crus.

Excellent now and better again with another year under cork. Serve at about 8°C with oysters, grilled king prawns or roast chicken.
