Champagne Bérêche et Fils Brut Réserve Vieilles Vignes Non Filtrée is the house's introductory cuvée, aged 36 months on lees and bottled without filtration.

Bérêche et Fils farms at Ludes in the Montagne de Reims and has become one of the reference grower estates in Champagne. This release is based on the 2022 vintage, which supplies 65 per cent of the blend, with the balance from the two preceding years. The composition is 35 per cent Pinot Noir from Ludes, Trépail and Ormes, 35 per cent Chardonnay from sites across the Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne, and 30 per cent Meunier from Mareuil-le-Port. Ludes and Trépail provide tension, offsetting the depth of the Marne fruit and the reserve wines, and the average vine age is 40 years. Hand-harvested fruit ferments naturally in barrel before ageing in barrel and tank, and after bottling the wine spends 36 months sur lattes before being disgorged by hand at around 5 grams per litre.

Drink now or cellar for five years or more, with oysters, roast chicken or a plate of hard cheese. Serve at around 8 degrees.
