Champagne Jacques Selosse Grand Cru Millésime is the house's vintage cuvée, now drawn from all six of the domaine's villages.

Anselme Selosse reshaped grower Champagne by treating the vineyard as a Burgundian would, working the soils, fermenting in barrel and bottling with minimal dosage. This wine began life as a blanc de blancs from two plots in Avize, but it now includes fruit from all six villages the domaine farms: Avize, Cramant and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte des Blancs, and Aÿ, Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and Ambonnay in the Montagne and Vallée. The blend runs to 70 per cent Chardonnay and 30 per cent Pinot Noir, giving the chalk-driven Côte des Blancs core a broader, more structured frame. It was aged on lees in bottle for ten years before disgorgement, which accounts for the developed, savoury register these releases show. Production is small and allocations are correspondingly tight.

Ready on release and capable of long further ageing. Serve at 8°C with roast chicken, aged Comté or richer seafood dishes.
