Description

Laherte Frères Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature is a dry non-vintage Champagne from France, made from dark-skinned grapes.

Blanc de noirs means a white wine pressed from dark-skinned grapes, which in Champagne means Pinot Noir, Meunier, or a mix of the two; the split is not stated for this release. Brut nature means nothing is added back at disgorgement. The label gives 2024 as the base year, and Laherte Frères farms its own parcels at Chavot.

Blanc de noirs Champagne is usually broader and more red-apple and orchard-fruited than a blanc de blancs, and the lack of dosage keeps the finish dry. Serve at around 10 degrees with charcuterie, roast chicken, or mushrooms.
