Champagne Laherte Frères Les 7 is a single-parcel field blend of all seven permitted Champagne varieties, drawn from a perpetual reserve.

Laherte Frères works from Chavot in the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay, and Les 7 is the cuvée that made its reputation. The parcel was planted by Thierry Laherte in 2003 to make use of heirloom vines of Fromenteau, Arbane and Petit Meslier already growing within the family's oldest plots. Adding Chardonnay along with Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Blanc created a single co-planting of every one of the seven varieties Champagne permits. The grapes are harvested and pressed together rather than separately, all fermentation is natural, and the wine is drawn from a perpetual, or continuous, reserve stretching back to 2005. Each year the blend runs roughly 60 per cent new vintage wine against 40 per cent of that reserve, so this release spans the harvests of 2005 to 2018. It was disgorged by hand with no dosage.

Drinking well now and worth holding several years. Serve at 8-10°C with roast chicken, mushroom dishes or a plate of charcuterie.
