Description

Les 7 is a multi-vintage Champagne from grower Laherte Frères in France, built on a solera.

The name refers to the seven grape varieties permitted in Champagne: alongside Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier sit Pinot Blanc, Petit Meslier, Arbane and Pinot Gris. A solera works by adding each new year's wine to the same reserve rather than keeping vintages apart, and the label gives a range running from 2005 to 2022. Disgorged November 2025.

A solera-based Champagne carries older reserve character, so expect more depth and a drier, more savoury line than a straight non-vintage. Serve at 10 to 11 degrees with poultry, pork, or mature cheese.
