Description
Champagne Leclerc Briant Réserve Brut is the house's non-vintage blend of Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay.
Leclerc Briant dates from 1872 and made its name under Pascal Leclerc-Briant, who moved the estate to organic and then biodynamic farming long before either had any standing in Champagne. The house is certified for both today, working with indigenous yeasts, minimal sulphur and low dosage. Réserve Brut is the wine that introduces all of that: the three Champagne varieties drawn from vineyards in the Marne, with a portion of reserve wine held back from earlier harvests to give the blend consistency and depth. Since the same amount of oxygen works on half the wine, which makes them a useful format for drinking now.
Ideally at around 8 to 10 degrees, and works as an apéritif or with oysters and other shellfish.
*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur. If you are after a specific vintage, please contact us prior to ordering.
