Champagne Pascal Agrapart Grand Cru Minéral Blanc de Blancs, in magnum, is blended from two adjacent old-vine plots on the border of Avize and Cramant.

Minéral is Agrapart's most emphatic expression of Côte des Blancs chalk, drawn from two neighbouring parcels of vines over fifty years old where the roots run straight into the chalky bedrock. The fruit from Le Champ Bouton in Avize was fermented in tank, while the component from Les Bionnes in Cramant was vinified in 600-litre oak casks, a division Pascal Agrapart explains as barrels for the expression of minerality and tank for precision. The wine spent more than five years on lees before disgorgement in July 2024 and was dosed at 3 g/L, so there is very little sugar to soften it. It is typically the saltiest and most mineral wine in the range, and in magnum it is also notably deep and vinous, with a Meursault-like weight cut by a saline, iodine edge.

Already expressive and capable of a decade or more in magnum; serve with oysters, roast turbot or scallops at about 8°C.
