Champagne Pascal Agrapart Grand Cru Minéral Blanc de Blancs comes from two adjoining old-vine plots straddling the boundary between Avize and Cramant.

Avize and Cramant are neighbouring grand cru villages in the Côte des Blancs, and the two parcels behind Minéral sit on the border between them, planted to vines more than 50 years old whose roots run straight into the chalk bedrock. Le Champ Bouton, in Avize, was fermented in tank; Les Bionnes, in Cramant, was vinified in 600-litre oak casks — barrels for the expression of minerality and tank for the precision, as Pascal Agrapart puts it. All the fruit is estate-owned and estate-farmed. The wine spent more than five years on lees and was dosed at 3 g/L before disgorgement in July 2024. It is consistently the saltiest and most overtly mineral wine in the Agrapart range.

Drinking now and capable of another decade in bottle. Serve at about 8°C with oysters, grilled crayfish or a roast chicken.
