Description

Château Closiot Barsac Cuvée Bonneau et les Autres draws on Clos Bonneau and the plots around it.

The name says what it is: the Bonneau plot and the others, taking in Placey, which adjoins Château Climens, and part of Château Piada, the neighbouring Barsac estate Jean-Marie Guffens took over for the 2025 vintage. Guffens, of Guffens-Heynen and Maison Verget in Burgundy, has run Closiot since 2017 and works the Barsac plateau's red earth over limestone.

Serve well chilled at 8 degrees with Roquefort, foie gras, a fruit tart or on its own after dinner.
