Description

Château Closiot Le C de Sec Vigne de Piada is a dry white from vines the estate has only just taken on.

For the 2025 vintage Jean-Marie Guffens took over the Barsac vineyards of neighbouring Château Piada, eight hectares of old vines that roughly doubled the size of Closiot. This bottling comes from that fruit, made in the manner of the estate's Le C de Sec: Sémillon-led, picked before noble rot arrives, and raised in barrel. Guffens, of Guffens-Heynen and Maison Verget in Burgundy, has owned Closiot since 2017.

Serve at 11 degrees with roast poultry, scallops, a rich fish dish or an aged hard cheese.
