Description
Château des Tourettes Tinus Rouge d'une Nuit takes its name from the single night that makes it.
Rosé juice run off the presses of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon is left overnight on the skins of old-vine Grenache, then drawn into stainless steel, where it stays with no oak at all. Jean-Marie Guffens, of Guffens-Heynen and Maison Verget in Burgundy, bought this fifteen-hectare Luberon property in 1997; it sits around 420 metres up on limestone, and the wines are bottled as Vin de France because Cabernet Sauvignon is not permitted under the Luberon appellation.
Serve lightly chilled at 13 degrees with charcuterie, roast vegetables, pizza or a summer lunch outdoors.
