Château Huradin Graves Rouge Organic 2024

Château Huradin Graves Rouge is an organically farmed red Bordeaux from the Graves appellation south of the city of Bordeaux, an appellation known for softer, gravel-driven reds.

Graves lends its name to Bordeaux's gravel-based soils, its vineyards running south from the city towards Sauternes and producing reds with a gentler, more immediately approachable profile than the wines of the Médoc. Château Huradin is based in Cérons, within the Graves appellation, and is farmed organically, reflecting a growing shift among smaller Graves producers towards low-intervention viticulture. The red is a classic blend led by Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, grown on the region's characteristic gravel and sandy-clay soils.

This is a soft, approachable red Bordeaux, well suited to everyday dining with roasted meats, charcuterie and hard cheeses.
