Chatto Seven Inch Pinot Noir 2025

Chatto Seven Inch Pinot Noir is a Tasmanian bottling named after the record format, in the label's musical vein.

Tasmania's cool maritime climate and long ripening season give Pinot Noir the acidity and fine tannin the variety needs, and Jim Chatto works sites from the Huon Valley in the south to Pipers River in the north. This is the more immediately drinkable of his wines. Whole bunches and native yeast go into the ferment, with short maturation in seasoned French oak.

Serve slightly cool at 14 degrees with charcuterie, roast chicken or a picnic lunch. Drink within five years.
