Clarence House Reserve Chardonnay 2023

Clarence House Reserve Chardonnay is the estate's selected Tasmanian Chardonnay from the Coal River Valley.

Clarence House is a Tasmanian producer in the Coal River Valley district east of Hobart, a cool maritime area of low rainfall and high sunshine hours that has become one of the island's key wine regions. Chardonnay thrives in Tasmania's long, cool season, keeping bright natural acidity and a fine, linear structure. The Reserve is made from selected fruit and is given more time and more oak than the estate Chardonnay, building extra texture and depth while keeping the tension typical of the island. It is sealed under screwcap, and is also bottled in a half-bottle format.

Layered yet fresh, it suits crayfish, roast chicken and creamy pasta; serve at around 10 to 12 degrees.
