Clarence House Reserve Pinot Noir 2023

Clarence House Reserve Pinot Noir is the estate's selected Tasmanian Pinot Noir from the Coal River Valley.

Clarence House is a Tasmanian producer in the Coal River Valley district east of Hobart, a cool maritime area of low rainfall and high sunshine hours that has become one of the island's key wine regions. Pinot Noir is Tasmania's signature grape, ripening slowly in the cool maritime climate to give wines of fresh acidity and fine tannins. The Reserve is made from selected parcels and given longer maturation in French oak than the estate Pinot Noir, adding depth and structure. It is sealed under screwcap, and is also bottled in a half-bottle format.

More structured than the estate wine, it suits roast duck, lamb and mushroom dishes; serve at around 16 degrees.
