Description

Clover Hill Rosé is a traditional-method Tasmanian sparkling, built on Pinot Noir with Chardonnay.

A sparkling rosé takes its colour either from brief skin contact or from a portion of still red wine added before the second fermentation. The Pipers River estate in northern Tasmania was planted in 1986 for sparkling wine, and the region's cool maritime conditions give the fruit its acidity. The wine is bottle-fermented and rested on lees before disgorgement.

Serve at 8 degrees as an aperitif, or with salmon, charcuterie or berries. Drink on release.
