Coeur des Sages Beaujolais Villages Gamay 2023

Coeur des Sages Beaujolais-Villages is a Gamay from the granite hills north of Lyon.

Beaujolais-Villages covers the better communes in the north of the region, where decomposed granite gives Gamay lift and fine tannin rather than the simplicity of the basic appellation. The grapes are fermented whole-bunch in the Beaujolais manner, which produces the bright red fruit character the region is known for.

Serve slightly cool at 14 degrees with charcuterie, roast chicken or a cheese board. Drink within four years.
