Description

Commune of Buttons Basket Town Red 2021 is a red wine from the Piccadilly Valley in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia.

Basket Town Red is a cuvee name and the grapes are not given in the information we hold, so none are stated. The Piccadilly Valley is one of the coolest and highest parts of the Adelaide Hills, close to Basket Range where Commune of Buttons is based, and reds grown at that altitude are generally picked at modest ripeness and finish light to medium in body.

On taste we keep to what altitude implies: brightness, red fruit and gentle tannin rather than weight. Serve with a light chill, 14 to 16 degrees, and drink it with charcuterie, mushroom pasta or grilled vegetables. Ask us if the blend matters to you before you order.

*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur. If you are after a specific vintage, please contact us prior to ordering.
