Description

Cooter & Cooter Shiraz is a McLaren Vale Shiraz from the certified organic and biodynamic Almond Block vineyard.

Cooter & Cooter is the label of James and Kate Cooter, a husband and wife team working in South Australia. They farm and source fruit from McLaren Vale and the Clare Valley, with their own vineyards certified organic and biodynamic, and make wines with minimal intervention. The Shiraz comes from the Almond Block, a McLaren Vale vineyard farmed under certified organic and biodynamic practices. McLaren Vale's Mediterranean climate, cooled by breezes from Gulf St Vincent, suits Shiraz perfectly, giving generous, ripe wines, and the organic approach here aims for balance and a clear sense of place. The wine is sealed under screwcap.

A generous, full-bodied Shiraz for barbecued meats, lamb and hearty casseroles; serve at around 17 to 18 degrees.
