Copain Tous Ensemble Pinot Noir 2017

Copain Tous Ensemble Pinot Noir is a light, fragrant Californian Pinot Noir that's picking up savoury, earthy notes with bottle age.

Wells Guthrie trained in the Rhône before coming home to California and founding the winery in Sonoma County in 1999. He made his name with fresher, lower-alcohol wines from cool sites in Mendocino's Anderson Valley and along the Sonoma coast, and since 2016 the business has been part of Jackson Family Wines. This approachable range blends fruit from several vineyards. Some whole clusters go into the ferment, and older French oak keeps the focus on fruit.

Fine tannins and fresh acidity. Pour it slightly cool, 14–16°C, with roast chicken, salmon or mushroom dishes, and drink it over the next year or two.
