Description

Craggy Range Te Muna Road Pinot Noir in the 1.5L magnum is a light-bodied red from Martinborough.

The Te Muna Road vineyard sits on an old river terrace above the Huangarua, south-east of Martinborough, on thin gravel soils that keep the vines lean. The site is cooler and windier than the Martinborough terrace itself, which pushes the harvest later and the tannins finer. The wine is fermented with a portion of whole bunches and matured in French oak, a small part of it new.

Serve at 15 degrees with duck, mushrooms or roast pork. Drink over the next ten years.
