Description

Croix & Courbet Côtes du Jura Savagnin Ouillé is the domaine's straight topped-up Savagnin.

Savagnin is the Jura's own white grape, late-ripening and naturally high in acid, most famous in the oxidative wines aged under a veil of yeast. Ouillé is the other path: the barrels are topped up through élevage so no veil forms. Croix & Courbet began in 2019, when David Croix of Domaine des Croix in Beaune joined Damien Courbet in the Jura, buying organically farmed fruit and making the wines at Nevy-sur-Seille.

Serve at 11 degrees with Comté, roast chicken, trout or a mushroom dish.
