Description

Cullen Mangan Elvie Clarke is a Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon blend from the Mangan vineyard in Wilyabrup.

The Mangan vineyard was planted in 1998, north of the original home block, and is farmed biodynamically like the rest of the estate. The name honours Elvie Clarke of the family's earlier generations. Margaret River's gravelly soils suit both varieties, giving Semillon weight and Sauvignon Blanc definition, and here they are fermented with wild yeast and given lees contact for texture.

Serve at 10 degrees with fish, chicken or a herbed salad. Drink over the next four years.
