Dalrymple Chardonnay 2024

Dalrymple Chardonnay is a fine, cool-climate Tasmanian Chardonnay with chalky acidity and a long, clean finish.

The estate was founded in the late 1980s in Pipers River, in Tasmania's north-east, and has been part of the Hill-Smith family's portfolio since 2007. Cool maritime air and long, mild autumns give fruit with natural acidity and fine flavour. This Chardonnay was matured for ten months in French oak, with a small portion in ceramic egg, adding depth and lees texture while keeping the wine fresh and precise. Expect white peach, grapefruit and Meyer lemon, with touches of brioche and almond.

Serve lightly chilled with Tasmanian oysters, crayfish, roast chicken or a soft-rind cheese.
