Description

Dalrymple Single Site Estate Coal River Valley Pinot Noir is a seductive Pinot Noir from Tasmania's south.

Dalrymple's southern vineyard lies in the Coal River Valley, a low-rainfall area close to Hobart where the grapes ripen steadily over a long, cool season. Pinot Noir from here tends to be darker and more structured than wines from the north of the state. The 2024 shows spiced plum, ripe tamarillo and cranberry with a savoury edge, fresh plummy fruit, suave tannins and blue florals.

Serve at around 16 degrees with venison, lamb rump or wild mushrooms. It can be cellared for five to eight years.
