Description

Dalrymple Single Site Estate Pipers River Pinot Noir is a pure, silky Pinot Noir from the estate's home vineyards.

The Pipers River vineyards are among the older plantings in north-east Tasmania, and their Pinot Noir is known for purity and fine acid structure. Sea breezes from Bass Strait keep temperatures moderate, and the grapes ripen slowly well into autumn. The 2023 combines classic red cherry and Asian five-spice with plum skin, violets and earthy notes from the warmer season, framed by silky tannins and black cherry fruit.

Serve slightly cool, around 15 to 16 degrees, with seared salmon, Peking duck or a mushroom tart. It will continue to develop for several years.
