Description

Dalrymple Single Site Estate Pipers River Pinot Noir shows the riper side of this cool north-eastern Tasmanian site.

This is the wine that best expresses where Dalrymple started, in the cool, coastal Pipers River district. In 2024 a warmer season shifted the fruit towards riper cherry, cranberry and plum, while the site's trademark Asian spice remains. Soft entry, fleshy texture, fine acidity and silky tannins carry it to a long, fruit-driven finish, and savoury notes appear as it opens.

The winemakers suggest opening it one to two hours before serving. Pour at around 16 degrees with roast quail, pork loin or a beetroot and goat's cheese salad.
