Dandelion Vineyards Enchanted Garden of the Eden Valley Riesling is a pure, citrus-driven Riesling from one of Australia's classic high-country regions, here in a 375ml bottle.

Elena and Zar Brooks set out in 2007 to bottle the character of old South Australian vineyards, and Eden Valley Riesling was an obvious fit for their Dandelion label. The region's elevation and cool nights help the grape hold its natural acidity, giving wines with drive and length. Made without fuss, the 2023 has a heady perfume of honeysuckle, rose water and lime, followed by a concentrated citrus core, a touch of green herbs and a salty, mouth-watering finish. The half bottle suits a midweek glass or a dinner for two.

Pour it well chilled with Thai fish cakes, freshly shucked oysters or a green papaya salad. Young and zesty now, it has the structure to develop toasty complexity with a few more years in the cellar.
