Description

Dandelion Vineyards Menagerie of the Barossa Grenache Shiraz Mataro is a bone-dry Barossa blend of three Rhône varieties.

Made by Elena Brooks, who started Dandelion with Zar Brooks in 2007, this blend brings together Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro, a trio with a long history in the Barossa. The winery notes that the 2024 vintage has a high level of natural acidity and is bone dry, giving a fresh, focused wine of its time and place.

Drinking well now, it will also reward cellaring, and a decant helps it open up. Pair it with a rich beef stew, lamb chops or a platter of cured meats, serving at around 16 to 18 degrees.
