Dandelion Vineyards Wonderland of the Eden Valley Riesling 2024

Dandelion Vineyards Wonderland of the Eden Valley Riesling is a powerful, dry Eden Valley Riesling with piercing citrus and a long, mineral finish.

Eden Valley has grown Riesling for well over a century, and its elevation makes it one of the coolest parts of the wider Barossa. Elena Brooks, who founded Dandelion Vineyards with Zar Brooks in 2007, sources this wine from the region, where cold nights preserve acidity and the rocky ground adds a mineral edge. The 2024 is pale white-gold with musk, lemon sherbet, lime and mandarin, plus a talc-like note. The palate is pure and powerful, with lemon and lime fruit swept along by racing acidity, ending savoury and dry.

Serve well chilled with Sichuan-spiced chicken, seared scallops or a Thai green curry. It is built to age and will gain toasty complexity over many years.
