Description

Disznókő Tokaji Dry Furmint is the estate's dry white, from the grape that built Tokaj's reputation.

Furmint is better known for the sweet aszú wines of the region, but picked early and fermented dry it makes a firm, high-acid white with real presence. Disznókő was placed in the first growth when Tokaj surveyed its vineyards in 1732, and has belonged to AXA Millésimes since 1992. Its 107 hectares lie in one block at Mezőzombor, on clay over rhyolite.

Serve at 10 degrees with grilled fish, roast chicken, smoked paprika dishes or a hard cheese.
