Dog Point Section 94 Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Dog Point Section 94 is a barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc, named after the block it comes from.

Where the estate's standard Sauvignon Blanc is made in tank, Section 94 is fermented with wild yeast in old French oak and left on lees for around eighteen months, which trades aromatic intensity for texture and length. The result sits closer to a white Bordeaux than to the Marlborough template. The vineyards are certified organic and were planted in 1979.

Serve at 11 degrees with roast fish, chicken or a creamy risotto. It develops over eight years.
