Description

Domaine Anne Gros Crémant de Bourgogne Brut La Fun en Bulles is a dry, traditional-method sparkling from Burgundy blending the region's two great grapes.

Burgundy's sparkling appellation requires the second fermentation to happen in bottle, with the wine resting on its lees before disgorging. At its best it offers finesse and precision for a fraction of Champagne prices. Anne Gros is best known for silky, precise reds from Vosne-Romanée, and she brings that sensibility to bubbles. The supplier gives the blend as 60% Pinot Noir for red-fruit depth and 40% Chardonnay for freshness and line.

Fine-beaded and dry, with a fresh finish. Pour at 6–8°C as an aperitif with gougères, oysters or smoked salmon, and keep it going right through a light lunch.
