Domaine Auguste Clape Vin de France 'Le Vin des Amis' is a Syrah-based red made outside the boundaries of the Cornas appellation, offering an earlier-drinking, more affordable introduction to the Clape family's style.

Produced by Domaine Auguste Clape, one of Cornas's founding and most respected estates, this cuvée draws on younger vines and parcels situated beyond the strict limits of the Cornas appellation, which is why it is labelled and released as Vin de France rather than under the appellation name. It is made with the same hands-on, traditional approach the family applies to its flagship Cornas, and is named for the friends and admirers who have long enjoyed sharing a bottle with the Clape family.

A relaxed, approachable red well suited to everyday drinking and casual entertaining.
