Domaine Benjamin et David Duclaux Côte-Rôtie 'La Chana' is a refined, site-driven red from one of the northern Rhône's benchmark appellations, prized for combining real power with genuine perfume.

Côte-Rôtie, meaning "roasted slope", is a small, steeply terraced appellation on the west bank of the Rhône near Ampuis, where granite and schist soils and a warm, south-facing aspect allow Syrah to ripen fully while keeping its aromatic lift. A small proportion of the white grape Viognier is traditionally co-planted and co-fermented with the Syrah here, softening the wine's structure and adding floral perfume. Domaine Benjamin et David Duclaux is a family estate now run by brothers Benjamin and David, continuing generations of work farming steep, terraced parcels across the appellation and vinifying individual sites separately to preserve their distinct character.
