Domaine Bruno Clair Marsannay Blanc 2018

Domaine Bruno Clair Marsannay Blanc is a developed white Burgundy from Marsannay, made by one of the northern Côte de Nuits' benchmark producers.

The Clair family has deep roots in Marsannay, and since founding his own domaine in 1979 Bruno Clair has helped lift the appellation's standing. Chardonnay here grows on the hillsides above Marsannay-la-Côte, where limestone and marl soils give wines of freshness and a clean mineral line. 2018 was a hot, sunny year across Burgundy that gave ripe, generous whites, and with time in bottle this one should show riper orchard fruit with developing nutty notes.

Enjoy it lightly chilled with roast chicken, grilled crayfish or a cheese board. Drink over the next year or two.
