Domaine Bruno Clair Marsannay Les Grasses Têtes Blanc is a single-vineyard white from one of Marsannay's named lieux-dits.

Alongside its village Marsannay, the domaine bottles several individual sites separately, so drinkers can taste the differences between Marsannay's hillsides. Les Grasses Têtes is one of these, and this white is made from Chardonnay. The estate was founded by Bruno Clair in 1979 and is now one of the leading names of the northern Côte de Nuits, with vineyards reaching into Gevrey-Chambertin and grand cru Chambertin-Clos de Bèze. Expect a more focused, site-specific expression than the village wine.

Serve chilled, but not too cold, with lobster, roast chicken or a mild washed-rind cheese. It will reward a few years in the cellar.
