Domaine Chermette Beaujolais Les Griottes in 1.5L magnum is a Gamay from the granite hills of southern Beaujolais.

Pierre-Marie Chermette farms at Saint-Vérand in the Beaujolais and has long worked without added sulphur at fermentation, a position he held well before it became fashionable. Les Griottes is his straightforward Beaujolais, made for drinking rather than keeping, and a magnum is simply the sociable format of it.

Serve lightly chilled at 14 degrees with charcuterie, roast chicken, a tart or a table of friends.
