Les Griottes is a Beaujolais Nouveau from Domaines Chermette (formerly Domaine du Vissoux), 100% Gamay picked and released in the same year as harvest for the fresh, exuberant, cherry-fruited style the category is famous for.

Pierre-Marie Chermette is one of Beaujolais' most respected growers, long recognised for producing wines of real substance in a region too often dismissed as simple and disposable. Les Griottes - named for the tart morello cherries ("griottes") its Gamay recalls - is made using the traditional semi-carbonic maceration of the region to capture pure, juicy fruit with minimal tannin.

Light, chillable and immediately drinkable, it's built for easy autumn drinking with charcuterie or simply on its own; serve lightly chilled at around 13-14 degrees.
