Domaine Christian Salmon Sancerre AC 2025

Domaine Christian Salmon Sancerre is a dry Sauvignon Blanc from the upper Loire.

Sancerre sits on hills above the Loire on three soil types: caillottes of limestone gravel, terres blanches of Kimmeridgian marl, and silex of flint. Each gives a different wine, and the appellation's reputation rests on that variation as much as on the grape. Sauvignon Blanc here is leaner and more mineral than in warmer regions.

Serve at 10 degrees with goat's cheese, oysters or asparagus. Drink within four years.
