Domaine Christophe Billon VDP Viognier 'Les Corendies' 2020

Domaine Christophe Billon VDP Viognier 'Les Corendies' is an aromatic white from the Northern Rhône, grown just outside the boundaries of neighbouring Condrieu under the broader Collines Rhodaniennes designation.

Domaine Christophe Billon is based in Ampuis, at the heart of Côte-Rôtie, where the Billon family also tends parcels of Viognier on the granite hillsides flanking the Rhône. Grown beyond the strict limits of Condrieu, the Les Corendies vineyard lets the estate work this perfumed grape in a similarly steep, well-drained setting while offering a more accessible introduction to Viognier's character. It is made with the same hands-on, small-scale approach the family applies to its better-known Côte-Rôtie reds.
