Domaine Collotte Marsannay Champsalomon is a single lieu-dit red bottled apart from the domaine's village Marsannay.

Champsalomon is a named lieu-dit at Marsannay which the domaine bottles separately from its village blend. Marsannay is the northernmost village appellation of the Côte de Nuits, recognised only in the late nineteen eighties, and still has no premier cru, although a number of its lieux-dits are cited whenever classification is discussed. The vineyards run over limestone scree and clay on the slope above the village, cooler ground than the communes to the south, and that shows in the firm, dark fruited profile of the reds and in their acidity. Domaine Collotte is a family estate based in Marsannay, farming parcels across the appellation as well as in Fixin and Gevrey-Chambertin.

Structured and savoury with dark cherry fruit, it suits beef, game and mature cheese; serve at around 16 degrees.
