Description
Domaine Combier Crozes-Hermitage Blanc is a distinguished northern Rhône white made largely from Marsanne, grown on the slopes that ring the historic Hermitage hill.
Based in Pont-de-l'Isère, Domaine Combier has been farmed by the Combier family for generations and is recognised as one of the leading organic estates of Crozes-Hermitage, the largest appellation of the northern Rhône. The vineyards sit on a mix of granite, loess and alluvial soils, and the domaine's long-standing commitment to organic viticulture and gentle, non-interventionist winemaking allow the Marsanne grape to show both textural richness and mineral precision, hallmarks of the best whites from this stretch of the Rhône.
Layered and generously textured yet lifted by fresh acidity, this is a food-friendly white suited to richer seafood, roast poultry or simply enjoying on its own.
