Description

A rare and beautifully expressive white from Beaujolais, the Domaine de la Bêche Cuvée Alexis is an unoaked Chardonnay with real depth and character. Crafted in Villié-Morgon by seventh-generation winemaker Olivier Depardon, whose family estate dates back to 1848, this cuvée is made from old vines for extra concentration and texture.

Aromatic notes of ripe melon, stone fruit and gentle spice lead into a rounded, generously textured palate with a creamy feel - delivering that ‘fat’ Chardonnay character without any oak. Balanced by bright freshness, it’s an elegant, fruit-driven alternative to Chablis or white Burgundy.
