Domaine de Rimauresq Cru Classé Rosé 2025

Domaine de Rimauresq Cru Classé Rosé comes from one of the small group of Provence estates classified back in 1955.

The property sits in the foothills of the Massif des Maures, thirty-five kilometres from the coast at between one hundred and forty and one hundred and ninety metres, on schist, pink sandstone and rolled pebbles. Fifty-seven hectares are worked, certified organic since 2020, with vines averaging forty years and a handful of blocks planted in 1930. Bunches are direct pressed under temperature control in a gravity-fed cellar to hold the aromatics.

Grenache leads, with Syrah, Mourvèdre, Rolle and the old Provençal Tibouren filling out a pale, dry and savoury wine of red fruit and citrus. Serve it properly cold at 8 degrees, as an aperitif or with bouillabaisse, grilled fish and whatever is good from the garden.
