Description

Domaine Delaporte Sancerre 'Chavignol' is a pure Sauvignon Blanc from one of the most celebrated villages within the Sancerre appellation.

Chavignol is a small village in the Sancerre appellation renowned for its flint, or silex, soils, which typically give the most mineral-driven, smoky-edged Sauvignon Blanc in the region. Domaine Delaporte has farmed vineyards around Chavignol across generations, working across the appellation's mix of flinty and Kimmeridgian limestone terroirs to produce wines that reflect their specific sites.

A crisp, mineral white, it pairs naturally with goat's cheese, shellfish and other classic Loire fare.
